1.0 GOVERNMENT CHEMIST LABORATORY AGENCY (GCLA)
The Government Chemist Laboratory Agency is an Executive Agency under the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare. The Laboratory is Mandated in carrying out laboratory testing, Industrial and natural products samples; Forensic and Toxicological samples; regulate and control Human DNA (regulations) Act.Cap 182. The Agency is expected to better meet the requirements of its customers and public in general.
1.1 CHEMICAL LABORATORY ATTENDANT– 1 POST(RE-ADVERTIZED)
1.2 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Keep laboratories and surroundings clean
Maintain safety/security of the working tools and utilities
Facilitate movement of samples and/or exhibits.

2.0 THE MWALIMU NYERERE MEMORIAL ACADEMY- (MNMA)
The Mwalimu Nyerere Memorial Academy is a higher learning institution under the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training. The Academy was established by Act of Parliament No. 06 of 2005 to provide training, research and consultancy services.
2.1 SENIOR NURSE- 1POST
2.2 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve prescribed medicines and drugs to patients.
Ensure that the dispensary and its surroundings are clean and safe.
Carry out sterilization of utensils before use.
Prepare and implement nursing care plans.
Carry out preliminary examination of patients.
Take care patients who are admitted at the dispensary.
Assist the assistant medical officer in performing emergency minor surgery.
Carry out any other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.
2.3 QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE.
National Form IV or Form VI Certificate and Diploma in Nursing from an Institution which is recognized by Nurse’s and Midwives’ Council.
He /She must have an operating license from Nurse’s and Midwives’ Council.
He /She must have working experience of at least five years.

Diagnose various samples in order to determine diseases.

3.0 THE TANZANIA ENGINEERING AND MANUFACTURING DESIGN ORGANIZATION (TEMDO)
The Tanzania Engineering and Manufacturing Design Organization (TEMDO) is an Applied Engineering Research and Development (R&D) Organization dealing with design, adaptation and development of plants and Equipment, and promoting their commercial manufacture and use. TEMDO also provides technical support services to manufacturing industries and SMEs. TEMDO is a Government Institution under the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
3.1 TECHNICIAN II -1POST (RE ADVERTISED)
3.2 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Undertake specific engineering tasks requiring competence;
Assist engineers in the execution of various technical assignments;
Provide technical support to engineers in the execution of technology development, machinery installation and maintenance works;
Operate equipment requiring higher skills;
Be in charge of shop-floor production operations or quality control;
Perform any other duties assigned by his senior.

4.0 TANZANIA METEOROLOGICAL AGENCY
Tanzania Meteorological Agency (TMA) is a Government Executive Agency under the Ministry of ransport. Tanzania Meteorological Agency (TMA) is designated Meteorological Authority in Tanzania and is mandated to provide meteorological services to the general public.
4.1 DRIVER II- 10 POSTS
4.2 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Makes pre-vehicle inspection to the assigned vehicle prior traveling;
Drives agency vehicles as assigned;
Reports to the Transport Officer/immediate supervisor vehicle mechanical defects discovered;
Keeps record of vehicle movements and distance covered in logbook;
Keeps record of fuel and type filled within the logbook;

Ability to work/drive public vehicle effectively with government officials as well as national and international delegates.
5.0 INSTITUTE OF RURAL DEVELOPMENT PLANNING (IRDP)
The Institute of Rural Development Planning (IRDP) was established as a Corporate Body under the Act of Parliament No. 8 of 1980 as a Higher Learning Institute for providing Training, Research and Consultancy services in the fields of Rural Development Planning.

6.0 THE TANZANIA ELECTRICAL, MECHANICAL ANDELECTRONICS SERVICES AGENCY (TEMESA)
The Tanzania Electrical, Mechanical and Electronics Services Agency (TEMESA) is an Agency under the Ministry of Works, established under the authority of the Executive Agencies Act No 30 of 1997 by an Establishment Order by the Minister for Works through Government Notice No.254 of 26th August 2005. TEMESA was created in the spirit of Act of No 30 of 1997, which was to improve services and increase both effectiveness and efficiency of operations. TEMESA was specifically established to provide efficient and effective electrical, mechanical and electronic services, reliable and safe ferry transport services and hiring of equipment to government institutions and the public at large.
6.1 TECHNICIAN II – MECHANICAL -3 POSTS (RE-ADVERTIZED)

Carry out repairs and maintenance of Vehicles, Plants and Equipment according
to mechanical workshop standards and procedures;
Carry out cleanliness of working tools/equipment and Workshop premises;

Prepare sketch drawings and take site measurements.

6.6 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Keep Workshop tools and equipment in safe place;
Maintain and repair Hull and Machinery;
Carry out general cleanliness of ferry engines;
Monitor ferry engines while in operation

Holder of either VET Level III, Full Technician Certificate (FTC) or Diploma in the
respective field
Holder of Ordinary Certificate of Secondary School with at least a Credit pass in

Network (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN);
Install, repair and maintain Computer and Telephone communication Networks;

Holder of either VET Level III, Full Technician Certificate (FTC) or Diploma in the respective field.

6.13 ASSISTANT TECHNICIAN – MECHANICAL -9 POSTS (RE-ADVERTIZED)
6.14 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Carry out repair and maintenance of Vehicles, Plant and Equipment;
Carry out cleanness of the working Workshops environment;
Keep working tools, instruments and equipment at safe and clean status.

VET Level II in respective field.

6.17 FERRY/BOAT OPERATOR II -3 POSTS(RE-ADVERTIZED)
6.18 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Inventory personal safety equipment in the ferry;
Ensure safe navigation of the ferry;
Ensure that passengers are properly seated in the ferry;
Operate the navigation equipment;
Ensure log books are filled on daily basis;
6.19 QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Form IV Certificate, with knowledge of navigating ferries approved by Dar es Salaam Maritime Institute or any other Institution recognized by the Government.
Completed a six (6) months course in Swimming, Sea survival and arrangement of passengers and vehicle into the ferry.
Certificate of Competence of at least Class IV issued by SUMATRA or other Institutions recognized by Government/IMO.
Working experience of at least 1 year in the relevant field is an added advantage.

6.21 PLANT OPERATOR II -2 POSTS(RE-ADVERTIZED)
6.22 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operate equipment as assigned by Superior officers;
Carry out cleanliness of equipment and accessories of plants;
Keep a Log Book for all jobs done.
6.23 QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Possession of Form IV certificate.
Possession of Driving license Class F.
Holder of at least VET level II in the relevant field from VETA recognized
Institution.

6.26 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drive Agency’s vehicles to approved destinations and in accordance with traffic regulations;
Report defects, repair or maintenance needs for vehicle;
Maintain the vehicle log-book;
Collect and deliver Mails for the Agency.
6.27 QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
The candidate must have successfully completed Form IV Secondary Education with passes in English and Kiswahili,

Must have a valid Class C Driving Licence,
VET Level II certificate from recognized Institutions such as NIT or VETA, and working experience of not less than three years without causing accidents.

6.29 SECURITY GUARD -11 POSTS(RE-ADVERTIZED)
6.30 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Guard the Agency’s properties and maintain peace and order;
Provide security for Agency and staff properties;
Monitor and control all properties entering and outgoing of the Agency;
Ascertain the authenticity of items coming in and going out of the Agency premises;
Check and make sure that all doors and windows are properly closed and all lights are switched off after office hours and report for any irregularities.
6.31 QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Form IV/VI Certificates with either National Service training or peoples Militia training, or successful completion of special Police course.
At least two years of relevant working experience.

7.0 TANZANIA TRADE DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (Tan Trade)
Tanzania Trade Development Authority (Tan Trade) was established by Act No. 4 of 2009 with overall objective of Developing and Promoting Trade both in domestic and foreign markets. Her establishment followed a repeal of the Acts of Parliament No. 15 of 1973 that created the Board of Internal Trade (BIT) which was responsible for Domestic Market Development and the Act of Parliament No.5 of 1978 that established the Board of External Trade (BET) that was responsible for Foreign Market Development. The mandates of the two defunct institutions are now vested on TanTrade which builds on the knowledge and vast experiences accumulated from the past.

Supervises junior staff
Maintains up-to-date register of files and file index books
Gives file numbers to file searchers
Reviews pending correspondence and listing files required for filling
Sorts outgoing correspondence in accordance with instructions or established means of dispatch and checks dates and signatures
Assembles flimsy copies and files them for consultation to listed officers
Weeds out inactive files i.e. old closed volumes, files with torn covers etc
Checks files in the cabinet/rack periodically to ensure proper order and neatness
Drafts acknowledgement letters on matters related to mail clearing
Performs any other duties as may be assigned by superior.

Diploma in Records Management, Archive Administration or related field with at least five (5) years working experience in the relevant field from reputable organization and must be computer literate
