Tumaini University Dar es Salaam College Constituent College of Tumaini University Makumira is a non-secular institution located in Dar es Salaam, Kinondoni District along Coca cola road Mwenge. The College is currently experiencing rapid expansion in terms of student enrollment and infrastructure development. To cope with the new changes the Colleges wishes to recruit additional qualified staff to fill the following vacancies:

 1.Personal Secretary

 Qualifications:
-Holders of Diploma in Secretarial with Office Management from recognised institutions. The candidate should be able to type at a speed of 100/120 words per minute and be competent and conversant in Microsoft office applications and Internet.

Duties and Responsibilities:
-Type general correspondences.
-Type letters, minutes, notices, bulletins, circulars etc.
-Print reports, letters, etc.
-Take dictations when required by the Controlling Office Receive telephone calls and message's.
-Receive and direct guests.
-Organise Diaries and schedules of the Controlling Officer
-Take proper care of facilities and equipment in the office.
-Perform any other duties assigned by the controlling officer.

2.Lecturers/Assistant Lecturers in Law (2 Posts)
Area: Dar Es Salaam
Qualifications:
Holders of a Master's Degree and five years teaching experience at University level or PhD in Laws or equivalent qualifications from a recognised institution with three years teaching experience as a lecturer.

3.Lecturers/Assistant Lecturers in Mass Communication (Two Posts)
Area: Dar Es Salaam
 

Qualifications:
-Master's Degree in Mass Communication or related subject with two to three years teaching experience and or experience in media/communication work.
 

Duties and Responsibilities:
The candidate should be able to lecture in Mass communication Law, Mass Communication Ethics, International Mass communication systems and Mass Media and popular culture. Other areas that the candidate should be competent at include: Writing for communication, Media Management and Organization and Introduction to Mass Communication.

Qualifications:
Master's Degree in English Language or related subject with' two to three years teaching experience at University level.
